Psalm 32 is a psalm of confession and forgiveness. David begins this psalm by pronouncing the blessing of having sin forgiven and relationship with God restored. David truly is qualified to speak on this subject. In this psalm he confesses his sin and the folly of trying to hide it. Only by confession and repentance before God can we find refuge and safety. God longs to lead the penitent to walk in the way of righteousness. He will “lead them with His eye.”
