Psalm 48 is another Psalm of praise to the power and protection of God over Jerusalem. Like Psalm 46 and 47, this Psalm was written in response to God’s protection over foreign invaders. Once again we sing a song of unbridled joy and praise. Perhaps the most notable aspect of this Psalm is the emphasis on recounting, recording and repeating the greatness of God for future generations.
