Few psalms possess the depth of blessing and praise that comes through genuine salvation. All too often men miss what God offers to those who will humble themselves and seek the salvation from sin that only He offers. In psalm 40 David proclaims the confidence, condition, and consequences of knowing the salvation of God. “Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.”
