This psalm is a tribute of David’s gratitude and dependance on God during a prolonged time of great trial. He had many opportunities to boast in his own accomplishments, but instead, he humbly gives God all of the praise. When so many others question God’s plan for their life during times of hardship, David declares in verse 30, “as for God, his way is perfect:” If you are facing difficult and trying times, call to God and trust Him with your life.
